Lucille'S Apple Crumble - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. butter
    3 apples
Preparation
    Mix sugar with 1 cup of water and boil down to syrup consistency.
    Mix cornstarch in 1/4 cup water and add to syrup with butter.
    Peel apples and cut them into one-inch pieces.
    Cook the apples in the syrup until tender.
    Place in a baking dish.
