Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. flour
    1 minced onion
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cut steak into 6 to 8 portions.
    Rub meat with salt and pepper.
    Dredge on both sides in flour.
    Melt shortening and brown meat on both sides quickly.
    Place in a baking dish; pour onion, soup and milk over meat.
    Cover with foil and bake 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
