Brownie Cake With Buttermilk Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour (plain), sifted and measured
    2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and sugar; set aside.
    Bring margarine, cocoa and water to boil.
    Pour over flour and sugar mixture; stir quickly.
    Whisk together the eggs, buttermilk, soda, salt and vanilla.
    Pour into the other mixture; beat well.
    Bake in a greased and floured pan (15 x 18-inch) for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0. Five minutes before cake is done, make the Buttermilk Icing.
