Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Heat chocolate squares and shortening in saucepan over low heat until melted.
    Mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Spread in ungreased pan (8 x 8 x 2-inches).
    Bake until brownies begin to pull away from sides, 30 to 35 minutes.
