Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. cooking oil
2 eggs, beaten
4 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add cooking oil, eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, a little at a time.
Make into small balls and press.
Decorate with colored sugars if desired.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes (do not overbake).
