Homemade Potato Salad Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1 egg
    1 scant c. white sugar
    1 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    diced cooked potatoes
    4 boiled eggs, chopped
    celery seed to taste
    chopped onion to taste
Preparation
    Mix egg and sugar together in small saucepan.
    In a one cup measuring cup combine cold water, vinegar and cornstarch.
    Mix until cornstarch is dissolved.
    Add remaining ingredients and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    Add 1 teaspoon margarine and 1 teaspoon mustard.
