Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    2 (29 oz.) cans sauerkraut
    1 small jar pimientos, chopped
    3 large onions, diced
    3 stalks celery, diced
    2 jars (16 oz.) 1 banana peppers and 1 mixed peppers, sliced
Preparation
    First boil vinegar, sugar and water for 10 minutes.
    Let cool completely.
    After mixture has cooled, pour over the remaining ingredients.
    Put all in a gallon jar and age for 7 days, then they are ready for eating.
