Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. squash
    8 Ritz crackers
    1/4 stick butter
    1 1/2 c. grated cheese
    1/4 c. milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Boil sliced squash in salted water until tender.
    Drain off water and mash.
    Add grated cheese and butter, leaving out enough cheese to go on top.
    Add beaten egg and milk.
    Add crushed crackers to mixture.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Bake in shallow casserole at 350\u00b0 until set and brown.
    Good!
