Marie Winkler'S Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 to 9 large apples
1/2 c. raisins or walnuts (optional)
1 c. flour (white or wheat)
1 c. uncooked oatmeal
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Combine flour, oatmeal, sugar and cinnamon.
Cut in margarine with a pastry blender or fork.
Peel, slice and arrange apples in a 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan.
Crumble the crumb mixture over the apples. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes or microwave on High about 20 minutes, covered, leaving small steam vent.
