Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    1 carrot, chopped fine
    2 cans (14 1/2 oz.) ready cut tomatoes
    1 tsp. parsley, fresh or dried
    1 tsp. dried basil
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Heat oil in pan.
    Add onion, carrot and cook until soft.
    Add tomatoes (not drained), all ingredients partly cover pan.
    Simmer very low 40 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
