Golden Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
2 c. pumpkin
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk (condensed)
2 eggs
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
In large bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well and pour into pie shell.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0 and continue baking for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
Cool before cutting. Garnish with whipped cream and nuts, if desired.
