Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. self rising flour
3/4 c. milk
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar and shortening until creamy.
Add flour and mix. Then add milk, egg yolks, and vanilla.
Beat with mixer 2 minutes at medium speed.
Pour into greased and floured cake pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 to 35 minutes.
