English Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 sq. chocolate (to be melted and added later)
    3/4 c. butter (Land O Lakes)
    1/4 c. chopped nuts, toasted
Preparation
    Melt butter and add other ingredients.
    Stir and cook until candy thermometer reaches 310\u00b0.
    Pour over nuts which have been toasted for 15 minutes at 200\u00b0 on a buttered cookie sheet.
    When cool, spread 2 squares melted chocolate over candy.
    (Use white or dark chocolate.)
    Break into pieces when cool.
    Tastes like a Heath bar.
