Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1/3 c. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    6 egg yolks
    1 Tbsp. lemon zest
    3 Tbsp. butter
    6 egg whites
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Mix first 6 ingredients together over medium heat.
    Stir until thickened.
    Whisk in 3 tablespoons butter.
    Pour into 9-inch baked pie crust.
    Beat egg whites with 3/4 cup sugar and cream of tartar until stiff.
    Bake 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
