Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup white sugar
1/8 cup molasses
2 eggs
1/2 lb. raisins
6 oz. dates, chopped*
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups oats
Preparation

Cream butter.
Add both sugars and molasses; cream well.
Add eggs and beat for 1 minute.
Add raisins and dates to mixture. Blend remaining ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
Drop by teaspoons into lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.
Do Not Overbake.
Remove from oven when top still looks doughy.
