Eight Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head shredded lettuce
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. green onion, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1 pkg. green peas, cooked and drained
    1 pt. mayonnaise
    1/4 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    8 slices bacon, crumbled on top
Preparation
    Layer, cover and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours.
