Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. dates
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. nuts, chopped
    1 c. coconut
    4 c. Rice Krispies
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Melt margarine and sugar, stir until dissolved.
    Add dates and water.
    Cook 6 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add next three ingredients.
    Remove from heat and stir in the Rice Krispies. Cool enough that you can handle mixture.
    Roll into 1-inch balls while warm.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
