1 unbaked pie shell
1/2 c. margarine or butter
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
Preparation

Put 1 cup pecans in bottom
of pie shell.
Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs, vanilla, flour, salt and buttermilk.
Pour over pecans in pie shell.
Bake until firm in the middle and brown on top.
