Pepper Steak With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, cut in 1/8-inch strips
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    1 c. diced green onions
    2 green peppers, cut in strips
    1 large tomato, diced
    1 c. beef broth
    1/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    3 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Sprinkle steak with paprika and set aside.
    Brown garlic in oleo; add steak, onions and green peppers and continue cooking until vegetables are wilted.
    Add tomatoes and broth; cover and simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes.
    Blend water and cornstarch with soy sauce and stir into steak mixture; cook until thickened.
    Serve over rice.
    Makes 6 servings.
