Pecan-Cheese Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sharp cheese, shredded
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/4 tsp. hot sauce
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. self-rising flour
    2 1/2 c. crispy rice cereal
    pecan halves
Preparation
    Combine cheese and butter in a large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed with mixer until blended.
    Add hot sauce and mustard; add flours, mixing well, then stir in cereal.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets; flatten with a fork.
    Press a pecan half in the center of each cookie.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 14 minutes; cool.
    Makes about 5 dozen.
