Cheddar Cheese Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon-flavored gelatin
1 c. water
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 (13 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
lettuce
Preparation

In a medium saucepan, combine gelatin and water.
Heat and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
Beat in sour cream and mayonnaise. Stir in undrained pineapple.
Chill until partially set.
Fold in cheese.
Pour into a 4-cup ring mold.
Chill until firm.
To serve, unmold onto a lettuce-lined platter.
Serves 6.
