Chili Cheese Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. chili powder
    3 tsp. salt
    2 lb. ground meat
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, drained, seeded and chopped
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. cumin seed, crushed
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 buns
Preparation
    Combine sour cream, chili powder and 1 teaspoon salt; set aside. Mix beef, chilies, cheese, 2 teaspoons salt, cumin and pepper. Shape into 8 patties. Grill on gas grill, set at medium. Cook to desired degree of doneness (about 8 minutes each side). Top each patty with 2 tablespoons sour cream mixture and serve open face on half of bun. Makes 8 servings.
