Chicken Tikka - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 garlic cloves
    1 medium onion
    1-inch piece of ginger
    1 c. yogurt
    2 Tbsp. cream
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    a few drops red food coloring
    2 tsp. garam masala
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    salt to taste
    1 chicken, skinned and cut up or 4 chicken joints or breasts
Preparation
    Mince garlic, onion and ginger together.
    Mix yogurt and cream together, then add to minced onion mixture. Add remaining ingredients except the chicken.
    Cut each piece of chicken deeply like a tic-tac-toe game.
    Marinate with the mixture 7 to 8 hours or overnight.
    Grill.
    Serve with a
    salad.
