Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
5 eggs
2 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. coconut
1 1/2 tsp. coconut flavoring
Preparation

Mix sugar and shortening.
Add remaining ingredients.
Pour batter into two bread pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
