Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. corn meal
2 c. flour
4 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Mix well corn meal and flour; add boiling water a little at a time.
Use a little warm water to make the batter just right.
Let set overnight or longer until sours a little.
Buttermilk will make it sour faster.
Once you are ready to bake, add salt, sugar, soda and baking powder.
Grease pan and bake until brown.
