Creamy Carrot Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter or oil
    1 stalk celery
    1/2 lb. potatoes, diced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 onion
    1 lb. carrots, sliced
    5 c. chicken stock, defatted
Preparation
    Use heavy soup pot.
    Bring ingredients to a boil.
    Cover and cook over medium heat until very soft (about 20 minutes).
    In blender or food mill, puree soup in batches.
    Return soup to cooker and reheat before serving.
    Garnish as desired.
