Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

baked pie crust
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1 qt. strawberries, sliced or raspberries
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 (3 oz.) box strawberry jello (raspberry for raspberry pie)

Preparation

Cook sugar, cornstarch and water until thick.
Stir constantly.
Add jello.
Cool slightly.
Add strawberries.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Chill.
Top each slice with whipped cream.
