Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 tomatoes, chopped
    1 tsp. brown sugar
    2 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 small carrots, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    pinch of oregano
    2 bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Brown bacon with butter, carrots and onion.
    Add chopped tomatoes, sugar and 2 cups warm water.
    Add 2 bouillon cubes.
    Boil and add 1/4 cup rice.
    Turn to low and simmer until thick.
    Stir now and then.
