Basic Cookie Recipe - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. all-purpose
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
powdered sugar

Preparation

Cream sugars, shortening and eggs.
Combine flour, salt and soda; blend.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture and beat well. Add variation.*
