Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. cooked potatoes, sieved while hot
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. yeast
    7 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. warm water
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar, add warm potatoes.
    Mix well, add eggs and salt.
    Beat well.
    Dissolve yeast in water and add alternately with flour.
    Knead until smooth.
    Let rise until double in bulk.
    Roll out on floured board about 3/4 inch thick.
    Place in greased pan, let rise.
    Cover with cream or undiluted canned milk, sugar and cinnamon.
    Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Remove from oven and dot with cream or a thin glaze of cream and powdered sugar.
