Play Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
    assorted food coloring (optional)
Preparation
    Cook all ingredients in 1 1/2-quart saucepan on medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes until forms a stiff ball stirring constantly. Take dough out of saucepan and let stand for 5 minutes.
    Knead dough about 30 seconds or until well blended and smooth.
    Cool completely.
    Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
    Will last about 6 weeks.
