Crispy Chocolate-Peanut Butter Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1 c. peanut butter
    2 c. crisp rice cereal
    1 c. cornflakes, slightly crushed
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a 2-quart saucepan, combine corn syrup, brown sugar and dash of salt.
    Cook and stir until mixture comes to a full boil. Stir in cereals, chocolate chips and vanilla.
    Press into an ungreased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Chill 1 hour; cut into bars.
