Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can drained, crushed pineapple
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 box dry white cake mix
    pecan bits (optional)
    2 to 3 sticks butter (maybe more or less)
Preparation
    Pour first 2 ingredients into a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Sprinkle cake mix over fruit.
    Add pecan bits, if you wish.
    Cut pats of butter and put all over the top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
