Orange-Cinnamon Snaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup shortening
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1-1/2 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    1 Tbsp. orange juice
    2-1/2 cups flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 cup sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Pre-heat oven to 350\u00b0F.
    Beat 1 cup sugar, shortening, egg, vanilla, and orange rind together.
    Add orange juice.
    Stir in flour, soda, and salt.
    Shape dough into walnut-size balls. Combine 1/4 cup sugar with cinnamon.
    Dip balls in the sugar-cinnamon mixture and place each on a baking sheet.
    Flatten with bottom of a glass dipped in additional sugar.
    Bake 10-15 minutes or until delicately browned.
