Sugared Nuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. shelled nuts
2 tsp. butter
1/4 c. butter
2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon or to taste
Preparation

Arrange nuts in a shallow pan; add 2 teaspoons butter.
Cook until brown at 325\u00b0.
Remove from pan; cool.
Melt 1/4 cup butter in the pan.
Beat egg whites until moist peaks form.
Combine sugar, salt and cinnamon; fold into egg whites.
Stir nuts into mixture.
Spread them out over the melted butter, forming 1 layer. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
