French Market Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. soup mix (beans)
    2 qt. water
    1 ham hock
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic
    1 chili pepper
    1/4 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Drain and add other ingredients.
    Cook slowly until done.
