Strawberry-Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. margarine
    2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
    2 c. boiling water
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 small tub Cool Whip
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 large pkg. strawberry gelatin
    3 c. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1 scant c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream margarine and brown sugar.
    Add pretzel crumbs.
    Pat in a lightly buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 10 minutes in preheated oven at 350\u00b0.
