Asparagus Egg Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. asparagus
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 c. milk
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 c. bread crumbs
    4 hard-cooked eggs
Preparation
    Make white sauce of butter, flour, salt, pepper and milk. Stir in cheese. Place 1/2 bread crumbs in greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Place alternate layers of sliced eggs, asparagus and cheese sauce on bread crumbs. Cover top with remaining bread crumbs. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
