Hot Fruited Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 apples, chopped
1 onion, chopped
3 Tbsp. oleo
1/2 medium sized cabbage, shredded
1 c. water
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Saute apple and onion in 2 tablespoons oleo for 10 minutes. Add cabbage and water.
Cover and steam 20 minutes.
When tender, add sugar and vinegar.
Just before serving, add the last tablespoon of oleo, salt and pepper.
Serves 6.
