7 Day Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cabbage, shredded
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. green peppers, diced
    1/2 c. green onions, sliced
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Sprinkle sugar and salt over cabbage, peppers and onions and let stand for 1 hour. Stir and drain some of the liquid.
    Combine oil, vinegar, celery seed and dry mustard.
    Pour over cabbage mixture.
    Chill.
    A small jar of diced pimentos makes a more colorful salad.
    Keep refrigerated.
    It will be good for a week!
