Diane'S French Breakfast Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. soft shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar, egg and sifted dry ingredients.
    Add alternately with milk.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in muffin tins.
