Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 Tbsp. lard or 2 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. sugar
1 pkg. yeast
1/8 c. warm water
1/3 scant c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour

Preparation

Combine lard and boiling water.
Let cool.
Add the 1/8 cup warm water, the yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar.
Let stand until yeast is melted.
