Hershey Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
8 plain Hershey candy bars
5 1/2 oz. Hershey's syrup
2 sticks oleo
2 c. sugar
4 well beaten eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix the soda and buttermilk; let stand while mixing candy. Melt the candy bars and syrup over low flame or in microwave. Cream together the oleo and sugar.
Add eggs and Hershey mixture to creamed oleo-sugar mixture.
Sift the flour; add alternately with buttermilk.
Add the vanilla and chopped nuts.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0 in a tube pan.
Let cool for a while, then turn out of pan and cover while warm.
