Marinated Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    salt
    pepper
    1 medium onion, peeled and sliced
    2 cucumbers, peeled and sliced
Preparation
    Mix together in a quart jar the oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Add alternately onions and cucumbers, adding a pinch of salt and pepper after each layer.
    When jar is filled, cover top and shake.
    Refrigerate at least 12 hours before serving.
    They will hold flavor and texture for 10 days to 2 weeks.
