Konafa Dessert(Egypt) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 shredded wheat biscuits
    1 c. toasted almonds, chopped
    1 c. corn syrup
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Heat shredded wheat on greased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Crumble 3 shredded biscuits in greased 9-inch pie pan. Sprinkle with almonds.
    Add remaining crumbled cereal.
    Bring remaining ingredients to a boil.
    Pour over cereal with almonds. Let stand at room temperature 2 to 3 hours.
    (Serve with ice cream.)
