Vampire Punch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 qt. hulled fresh strawberries or 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
1 qt. cranberry juice
juice of 2 oranges
juice of 2 lemons
1 qt. club soda, chilled
crushed ice
Preparation

In a saucepan, bring sugar and water to a boil, stirring, until sugar dissolves.
Cool in a large bowl.
Combine pineapple and strawberries and juice.
Chill.
Add cooled sugar syrup to fruit mixture and refrigerate.
Just before serving, add club soda to juice.
Makes eight 2-cup servings.
