Refrigerator Roll Dough - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. hot water
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
3 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. warm water
2 pkg. yeast
1 beaten egg
3 c. flour
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients together.
Cool to lukewarm.
Measure warm water into bowl.
Sprinkle in yeast.
Stir until dissolved. Stir in lukewarm water.
Add beaten egg and flour.
Beat until smooth.
Stir in additional 3 cups flour.
Place dough in greased bowl; brush top with soft shortening.
Cover tightly with foil. Store in refrigerator until double in bulk or needed, up to 1 week.
When ready to use, shape and let rise about 1 hour.
Bake at 425\u00b0 until brown.
Brush with butter while hot.
