Fresh Corn Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 to 8 ears sweet corn
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, beaten well
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cut corn from cob, scraping cob well.
    Place corn and scrapings in a large saucepan.
    Add 2 tablespoons water.
    Bring to boiling.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and cool slightly.
    Do not drain.
    Place corn in a large bowl.
    Add sugar, salt and eggs.
    Stir in milk.
    Pour into a 1 1/2-quart buttered casserole.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Serves 8.
