Diabetic Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine or oil
    1 Tbsp. liquid sweetener
    3 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. diabetic applesauce or mashed bananas
    1 c. dried dates or prunes, chopped
Preparation
    Cream margarine, eggs and sweetener.
    Add soda, spices, flour and applesauce or bananas; mix well.
    Fold in fruits and nuts. Bake
    in
    loaf
    pan at 300\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
    When done, let stand in pan 10 minutes before removing from pan.
