Sausage Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. rolls bulk sausage (ham sausage or extra mild)
    1 large onion, chopped small
    2 c. water
    5 to 6 medium potatoes, cut in 3/4-inch cubes
    dash of salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
    2 cans creamed corn
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 (12 oz.) cans evaporated milk
    1 large bag Fritos corn chips
Preparation
    Cut sausage into rounds and flatten by hand. Brown in large stockpot. When sausage is done, remove from drippings and set aside.
